'GMA' Weekend's Great Puppet Caper

Each week on " Fixation" we endeavor to bring you the most fun videos and stories from the past week, and of course, to have a little fun for ourselves. And this weekend, there was no better material than " The Puppet's Court," the puppet-show-style courtroom reenactments that were featured on local newscasts in Cleveland, Ohio this week.

As journalists, we're always looking to up our game and experiment, so we took the post-modern approach by reporting on the puppet show using a puppet version of our anchor Ron Claiborne.

An interesting fact on the puppet - it was made in less than 24 hours! We hatched this puppet plan in our Saturday morning meeting, and by pre-show Sunday there was a puppet news anchor waiting behind the scenes for his on-air debut.

Why the ice cream, you may ask? Regular viewers of weekend "GMA" know that Ron's favorite pre-show meal is a pint of ice cream, so of course, our puppet Ron should do the same.

And not to be outdone, the rest of our anchor team played along as well - by the end of the show all four of them had puppet doppelgangers!

Major, major "props" to our set designer Elizabeth Popiel for her work in making our four puppet anchors come to life on such a short time frame, and creating yet another memorable "GMA" moment.
